You say it's your birthday...

This is Tiff.

Tiff and I have been friends since high school.

Let me tell you the reasons why we have been friends for so long and remained as such.

Tiff...

• can dance like I've never seen. You put her in a room with some jams and she is shakin it like she's got it.
  
• is a bomb cook. When I decided to leave for college and leave her all sad and lost and alone in Vegas (not really, everyone loves her and I was just lucky to be called her friend, but I like to pretend) she came to my house with the Family and we cooked us some steaks. Yes folks, we grilled. And it was BOMB!
• has a killer fashion sense. Of all of the girls in our group, she is the Audrey Hepburn. She always looks 50 times more put together when she has just woken up then any of us could look if we spent 2 hours on ourselves. She also finds the most fierce outfits...and they are always full coverage. She gives new meaning to the phrase "modest is hottest" (ya, I just said that...we are bringing it back to 2002)
• is an amazing photographer. Her fabulo-husband got her an awesome camera that I was insanely jealous of and holy crap does she use it. She even got out my sunroof to take pictures of the GG Bridge and Lombard street as we were crossing...don't worry, she's small, she fit.
• is loyal. You are either with her or you aren't. So get on the Tiffany train because once you are on it that woman will defend you to the death. She patiently waited for her husband to come home from the mish for 2 years so she could become the wifey. She takes care of her fam like it's nobody's business. She flew all the way to San Francisco freshman year to see me because I was all sad and lost and alone without her and crumpled in a ball under my bed being homesick. Then she did it again for my baptism.
• is wicked generous. She's always doing things for other people. Seriously. Always. She buys us all awesome presents on present giving occasions (except for this blank book she got me for my baptism, that was not the ish), she makes sure everyone is OK before she worries about herself, she gives her time and wonderful personality to everyone she meets without batting an eye.
• is STRONG. This is my favorite Tiff trait. That woman is I-N-D-E-P-E-N-D-E-N-T if you know what I mean. Everyone was getting cars in high school that were fancier than her blue smurf car so you know what she did? She marched right up to a spanish TV station and was like, Telemundo, I don't speak Spanish but I'm working here and just like that BAM. She worked her tail off and bought herself a Jetta while we were all still being dependentt on our parents and tryin to follow curfews. We all decided to leave her and be fancy at our smancy colleges so you know what she did? She went and got her paralegal degree 2 years quicker than any of us and was starting her career before we even picked out majors. BAM. She was all crafty like the rest of us and while we were sitting here dreaming up our wonder-weddings what did she do? BAM, went and married the man of her dreams and became his sugar momma while putting him through med school. High Powered Legal Consultant + Doctor...THAT is a power couple. Her hubby was applying for medical school and they would have to move and she would have to leave her fabulo-job behind to support her husbands hopes and dreams while hers would be crushed forever (I have a flair for the dramatic, clearly) so you know what she did? BAM, she landed herself a new job, with a bigger salary AND she could work at home. Oh and did I mention she is younger then us? Ya...she is just turning 22. She's a baby. And she's way more fabulous then any of us could hope to be.

You should all be majorly jealous that she is my friend.So Tiffany my dear. Happy 22nd!
I hope this year brings you all the things you want and need...but I know it will because you know how to make things happen.
