A Day Devoted to Ashton.

Ashton Bothman is one of my best friends and a fabulous person (if you ever get a chance to have her in your life you are one lucky person). She is also gets very excited about birthdays so I knew for her birthday we would have to do something extra special. So I got my creative juices flowing and got to work. I made her a little book themed birthday basket, a photo collage of her fabulous life and some snacks for our little day getaway...to NAPA!!! I had never been and Ash had never been wine tasting so I got together some of her closest friends and we made the trek in our fancy clothes up to wine country. The girls spent the day wine tasting at various locations (all described in detail in their packets) and we had a fantastic time.

We went to V.Sattui for lunch, which is also a winery, and had one of the best lunches I have had in a long time. From there we headed to a chateau owned by the Coppolas (as in Francis Ford), which was beautiful. Since we were getting tired and on a time crunch, we didn't wine test there but did make quite a scene as we tried on hats in the gift shop, galavanted around the beautiful grounds, and took pictures on the red carpet.

We booked it back to San Francisco and got dressed and headed out to Tortilla Heights for some delicious Mexican food. Ashton's brother, Drew came up for a surprise and she had no clue, so it was great to see her face when he showed up! It was such a great day and we all had such a fabulous time!
