Martha needs some sunshine...

...and a project in her life.

I have been staring at this little ray of sunshine for days...

Some people have pets and some people have children but I have my little baby Kitchen Aid Artisan mixer in Buttercup Yellow.

She is awesome. She brings sunshine in my life and she makes me want to paint my entire kitchen/home Buttercup Yellow, frost cupcakes all day, listen to the birds chirping and sing Disney songs. She also makes me want to channel the woman I got my nickname from, none other than Ms. Martha Stewart..so I have been all over the blogging world/online/decorating magazines looking up headband decorating, new FHE ideas, creative cupcakes and pie ideas and channeling my inner Martha. Yes, the mixer baby can do all of that...she is just that fabulous.
Yes it's a she. Why you might ask?
Could any man/man like object throw together 8 dozen cupcakes fully frosted in two hours? I think not.
Hand tools=He, Baby Mixer=She.

Since Tiny304 just cannot handle 5 rooms of bright yellow and also since I am very happy with my living room with it's giant peacock feathers, textured pillows and blankets and rich browns as well as my bedroom with it's vintage lantern, walls and walls of pictures and bed full of fabulous satiny pillows...I am not planning on redoing them anytime soon...
So that leaves...

The Bathroom!

I've always hated my Tiny304 bathroom and for good reason. It has tons of counter space, lots of under storage space and it's actually quite large with great lighting and I chose to stifle all of this by piling crap all up underneath the counter with no real order, covering the walls in dark brown rod iron left overs from Club426 (that's the old house...the wonderhouse with crown molding and dark wood floors overlooking the ocean...oh how I miss it...yet I digress) and it sucks.

It makes me sad to look at. It doesn't go with the rest of the house and as Momma K so graciously pointed out, "That's not cute, plus you don't even have a rug."

So I will be getting a rug, painting all that sad brown a beautiful crisp white and painting my walls YELLOW!
